Where to find official papers and answer keys

Kerala PSC publishes question papers and answer keys on its own website. Use the paper code, exam date and category number to identify the correct material. If a final answer key is available, check it before reviewing your score: a provisional key may change after the Commission considers objections.

How to practise a previous question paper

  1. Check the instructions. Note the time limit, number of questions, marking rule and any negative marks for that examination.
  2. Make a first attempt without notes. Mark uncertain answers separately, even if you guess correctly.
  3. Review the calculation path. Write the formula and units for numerical questions. Identify why the other options are incorrect.
  4. Group your mistakes by topic. A low score in a paper can come from a specific weak subject rather than every subject.
  5. Retest after revision. Compare your error types and time use, not just the final mark.

Practising papers on CIVILWAR

Register or log in, then select Previous years on the dashboard. Choose an available paper and select practice or exam mode. Practice helps you work through the questions; exam mode gives you a timed attempt and a result to review. The first five papers are available to free accounts; the remaining library requires PAID access. The app shows the papers currently uploaded by the administrator.

Official source links on this page do not mean every linked paper has already been imported into CIVILWAR. Always check the app’s current library and refer to the Commission’s final key for official answer decisions.

Connect paper practice with topic revision

After a test, choose one or two error categories from your notes. Work through the matching subtopic, then return to the paper after a gap. Start with the civil engineering preparation guide and try the free MCQ examples to see how to explain an answer rather than memorise an option letter.
